Meg Conlay
Megan was born and raised in Huntington Beach. She received her BA from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1997 and her MS in Education from California State Fullerton in 2003.
Before becoming a registered yoga teacher, Megan worked as an elementary school teacher. Previous to finding Yoga Tribe, Megan was a self-confessed couch potato, but after having triplets and then a fourth child in 22 months she decided it was time to reclaim her physical health.
Once her children were old enough to attend preschool, Megan began attending classes at Yoga Tribe in December 2007. She lost the baby weight quickly, but more importantly discovered a significant increase in strength, energy and endurance.
Megan became so hooked on practicing hot yoga that she desired to share her passion with others. In August of 2009, she completed the Dayton Method Hot Yoga Teacher Training. She is currently a 200 hour-RYT through Yoga Alliance, the national education and support organization for yoga in the United States.
Megan and her husband Mike both practice regularly at Yoga Tribe. They truly appreciate the time it allows them to give back to themselves and how it refreshes them for going back to their busy household.
In her spare time Megan enjoys reading, playing scrabble, eating chocolate, and spending time with friends. She has a rather corny sense of humor and enjoys trying to make her students laugh during classes at Yoga Tribe.
